This role is key to ensuring learners with additional needs can fully access their education and achieve positive outcomes.You will work closely with teaching staff and support teams to provide educational, pastoral and personal care support to learners with a range of needs. The role includes supporting learners in lessons, during breaks, on trips and visits, in work placements and across wider college activities.As a Learning Support Assistant, you will build strong, respectful relationships with learners and demonstrate high expectations and ambition for their progress. You will use a variety of learning strategies and adaptations to help learners engage, develop independence and reach their full potential.**The Person*** You will have experience of working with young people, ideally those with additional learning needs.
