A leading beauty company in Nottingham is seeking an experienced SEO Specialist to enhance organic visibility. This role focuses on optimizing website content, performing keyword research, and implementing effective SEO strategies. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in SEO, ideally within an e-commerce environment, and be adept with tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs. We are looking for a highly motivated SEO Specialist to help grow our organic visibility across the No7 Beauty Company E-Commerce websites. This role is responsible for delivering best-in-class on-page, technical and off-page SEO activity, with a strong focus on adapting to the rapid evolution of AI, Search Generative Experiences (SGE) and geo-specific optimisation. Working with cross-functional teams, you'll help drive long-term search performance and support wider brand and commercial objectives.
As part of the wider digital marketing team, you will report into the Digital Marketing Manager, working to enhance our organic visibility and drive traffic into the No7BC E-Commerce websites, your main responsibilities will include:
Perform ongoing keyword research including discovery expansion of keyword opportunities, including creating and managing a keyword tracking tool for paid and organic search. Identify high-performing keywords to optimise website content and drive targeted traffic.
Support briefing & optimisation of organic search activity towards key performance indicators.
Monitor and analyse performance through SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs or Screaming Frog.
Alongside the Digital Marketing Manager, support the development and implementation of effective SEO strategies tailored to our E-commerce sites unique goals, consumer and objectives, in line with best practice.
Support the management of our search agency partner in building the strategy, as well as ongoing management of deliverables according to scope such as reporting, analyses and technical audits/recommendations.
Support the delivery of off-page SEO activity, including digital PR, link-building campaigns and partnership opportunities.
Support the Digital Marketing Manager to ensure organic search strategy is supportive and complimentary of the pay-per-click strategy as a “one search” approach, to identify synergies and opportunities, whilst endeavouring to reduce our overall reliance on paid traffic.
Proven experience in an SEO role, ideally in an e-commerce or digital-first environment.
Technical SEO experience and understanding of impacting factors.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate SEO strategies clearly.
Strong stakeholder management & networking skills, navigating diverse stakeholders across the business.
Confident working with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush or similar.
Experience with Salesforce.
Content writing experience.
