Job description

Job title – Expert Vit B Technical

Location – Dalry, United Kingdom (On site)

We have a permanent vacancy within the Vitamin B department working on dayshift.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides additional fault-finding support and direction to the production teams.
  • Provides specialist support on complex equipment and/or systems.
  • Provides support to planners in preparation of work packages.
  • Coaching and training production teams on chemical processes and complex pieces of equipment.
  • Sets maintenance priorities in liaison with production and maintenance team personnel
  • Contributes to RCA / FMEAs.
  • Reviews, approvals and assistance with issue of risk assessed permits to work
  • Prepares isolation sheets, washout protocols and plans for plant outages
  • Carries out reviews and updates risk assessments
  • Assists with training, mentoring and assessing process apprentices.

You Bring
  • The successful candidates should have a minimum of City & Guilds in process operations Level 3 or relevant subject or equivalent in a relevant subject or be willing to work towards these qualifications.
  • Candidates must have demonstrated people management skills and previous supervisory experience would be an advantage.
  • They must also be able to show effective leadership, good communication and the ability to affect change.
  • Other essential behaviors are being flexible, team player, good communication, problem solving and organizational skills.
