Job overview

We are looking to recruitment a part time ward clerk to our Trauma and Orthopaedics team.

The applicant will be responsible for the following:

  • Greeting all patients/visitors to wards & departments and allow access via any electronic entry system.
  • To ensure that all potential overseas visitorsӷเปิดอภิปราย할가지인 등록 on CAMIS.
  • Answering the ward / reception telephone promptly, taking messages and re-directing calls as necessary.
  • Data entry μπορούν respect of all attendances outside clinic/telephone consultations.
  • Using the CaMIS Tracker system, locating, requesting and collection of patient’s case notes for planned and unplanned admissions.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date location status for the patient’s case notes, using the tracker system, throughout the patient’s stay.
  • Open and distribute ward / department mail and re-direct post where necessary.
  • Collecting patient notes from case note release / hospital shuttle buses.
  • Use of clinical IT systems to input and extract patient and nursing information.
  • General photoc деш paying scanning and copying of case notes, when requested, for the transfer of patients to other hospitals.
  • Attend all mandatory training in accordance with Trust policy.
  • Participate in the Trust’s Annual Performance Development

Main duties of the job

  • Attend all mandatory training in accordance with Trust policy.
  • Participate in the Trust’s Annual Performance Development Appraisal and Review.
