Volunteer Gardening Helper Wanted at Treloar’s School & College

Do you enjoy spending time outdoors and have a passion for plants and gardening? Treloar’s is looking for a friendly Volunteer Gardening Helper to work in our outdoor learning centre and greenhouse.

This opportunity is perfect for anyone interested in propagation and growing plants.

Who are we

Treloar’s is a charity which runs one of the UK’s largest specialist education centres for young disabled people to live and learn. Through our school and college, we offer students the opportunity to fully take part in life and achieve their aspirations.

What you’ll be doing
  • Watering, potting and planting flowers or vegetables
  • Tidying and maintaining outdoor spaces
  • Support gardening events such as the annual plant sale
  • Helping to create a pleasant and nurturing environment for our students
We’re looking for someone who

Enjoys working outdoors, is reliable and happy to lend a hand. Can follow instruction and meet the physical demands of the role. Tools and training will be provided.

When

Initially 4 hours per week on Monday, Wednesday or Friday between the hours of 10:00-17:00.
