Job summary

A leading technology firm in the UK is seeking a skilled Service Operations Centre (SOC) Analyst. This role will focus on maintaining service excellence for banking customers. Responsibilities include managing complex incidents, conducting system health checks, and supporting a high-performing SOC environment. Candidates should have 1-3 years of experience, strong ITIL process knowledge, and excellent communication skills. This position initially requires training in Cardiff office, then moves to remote working on weekends.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience in SOC, IT Operations, or Service Management.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes and ITSM tools.
• Experience supporting voice recording or compliance platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own and resolve incidents across customer environments.
• Conduct daily system health checks and monitor performance.
• Act as an escalation point for Associate Analysts.

Excellent communication and customer relationship skills

Investigate and resolve incidents independently

Detail-oriented and ability to manage multiple priorities

Education

ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent experience
