The Unique Challenges You\'ll Solve

This isn\'t just about executing tasks or managing projects. You\'ll be:

• Architecting for the NHS Scale: Designing and scaling a robust data architecture that handles massive event-driven communication flows across nearly every GP practice in the UK.
• Bridging the Gap Between Engineering and Insight: Collaborating with product and data teams to transform raw healthcare communication data into high-performance models for analytics and Machine Learning.
• Building Resilient ELT Ecosystems: Implementing ELT practices in a cloud environment where data integrity and security are paramount for patient safety.

What We\'re Looking For

We need a Senior Data Engineer who embodies our Principles and thrives on significant challenges. Core skills:

• Expert at building data pipelines: Strong experience building and maintaining complex, scalable data pipelines using Python and SQL.
• Cloud Data Warehousing Mastery: Deep knowledge of modern cloud data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift) and advanced ELT practices.
• Architectural Vision: Experience designing data architecture to support analytics, ML, and event-driven systems.
• Collaborative Leadership: Comfort working with and influencing stakeholders across engineering, product, and data, as well as external partners.
• Product-Minded Engineering: Treating data as a product that enables better healthcare outcomes.
• Relentless Resourcefulness: Ability to embrace constraints and solve technical hurdles of legacy healthcare data.
