A leading health service in the UK is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their multidisciplinary team. This role involves assessing patient care needs, developing care programmes, and managing the Minor Injury Services. Ideal candidates will have a Graduate Certificate in Urgent Care and demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills. As part of a multidisciplinary team the post holder will have responsibility for assessment of care needs and the development of programmes of care, and / or the implementation and evaluation of these programmes ensuring the delivery of high quality care to patients.
Assessment of presenting conditions, initiation of investigations, determination of differential diagnosis, initiate treatment and where appropriate discharge patients.
Review treatment plans developed by less experienced staff in order to confirm differential diagnosis and advise on discharge/referral.
In the absence of the Team Leader for MINTS the post holder will have responsibility for the management of the MINTS Service including supervision, development and deployment of junior staff.
Please note for all vacancies where a driving licence is required this must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence.
This role will be based in Hospital at Home.
The working pattern for this role 4 over 7.
