Job description

Verwood CE First School is looking for a Midday Supervisor to join our fantastic team.

Actual Salary: £2,765 per annum (Grade 1). This role is for 5 hours per week and 38 weeks per year, on a permanent basis with an approximate start date of 1st January 2026.

Interviews will be held on the morning of Friday 12th December 2025.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise pupils in designated areas of the school during the midday break.
  • Establish safe and appropriate behaviour.
  • Assist pupils with the collection of food and return trays to the service counter.
  • Assist in the setting up and removal of furniture where necessary.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Previous experience of working in a school.
  • Experience of following procedures and processes.

This role will involve working 1 hour per day, Monday - Friday.
