## For additional information, please review .By Joining Citi, you will become part of a global organisation whose mission is to serve as a trusted partner to our clients by responsibly providing financial services that enable growth and economic progress.**Team/Role Overview**Individuals in Cross Disciplinary Controls are responsible for multiple activities within the Controls capabilities such as assessment & design, MCA, QA, Monitoring & Testing, Issue Management and/or Governance Reporting & Analysis for effective end to end oversight, design, implementation, and execution of controls. Individuals in this role may cover a broad range of in-business/function risk and control responsibilities rather than focusing on one specific role.**What you’ll do*** Complete detailed reviews of Operations Risk Events (OREs) ensuring lessons learnt are shared and events are appropriately escalated in adherence to Global Escalation Policy.* Initiate proactive risk reviews within the functional teams to assess the effectiveness of existing controls, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing necessary changes.* Drive execution of the MCA in accordance with the ORM Policy & Framework, as well as applicable Policies, Standards, and Procedures.* Responsible for the assessment of activities and processes as per required Policies, Standards and Procedures to strengthen risk management quality.* Responsible for the coordination and comprehensive management of issues with key stakeholders to ensure deliverables remain on track and remediation is sufficiently evidenced.* Manage the operation of weekly functional risk meetings, including coordinating meetings, managing agendas, ensuring follow-up on action items and roll-up into Citi Risk Forums.* Contribute to various cross-operations risk programs, ensuring participation and impact assessment for your functional unit.* Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of teams and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards**What we’ll need from you*** Relevant experience in operations or operational risk management.* Ability to identify, measure, and manage key risks and controls.* Track record leading control related initiatives* Ability to see the big pictures with high attention to critical details.* Requires an ability to provide challenge and make recommendation for risk and controls remediation.* Expert knowledge in the development and execution for controls.* Proven experience in control related functions in the financial industry.* Understanding of compliance laws, rules, regulations, and best practices**What we can offer you**We work hard to have a positive financial and social impact on the communities we serve.
