Eligibility Criteria

• Begin an undergraduate degree at the University of Sheffield in September 2026.
• Be currently enrolled at a GEMS School in the UAE, Qatar, or Egypt.
• Hold an offer for an eligible undergraduate course (excluding Medicine (A100/A101) and Dentistry (A200)).
• Choose Sheffield as a firm or insurance choice by 4:00 PM (UK time) on 3 June 2026.
• Be classified as an overseas fee-paying, self-funded student (not sponsored).

The program must be studied in full at the University of Sheffield, starting from year one.

Applications open on Monday, 1 December 2025, through the University’s official scholarship webpage.
The deadline to submit applications is 1:00 PM (UK time) on Monday, 16 February 2026.

Applicants will be notified of the results by 16 March 2026, and successful candidates must accept the scholarship by 4:00 PM (UK time) on Monday, 20 April 2026. Failure to do so will result in the award being offered to another candidate.
