Join our Engineering team and play a key role in keeping our operations running safely and efficiently. We’re looking for a highly organised Engineering Administrator to support our planners, supervisors, technicians, and management with accurate data, system support, and essential administrative coordination.

You’ll be joining a supportive team working on digital engineering tools, continuous improvement initiatives, and important safety and operational projects. The work is varied, fast‑paced, and offers opportunities to grow within engineering support and asset management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update engineering data within Mainsaver, Mainsaver Connect, and handheld devices.
  • Support planning and scheduling activities using engineering offline and online tools.
  • Review engineering staff working hours and prepare weekly timesheets.
  • Maintain engineering time and attendance records.
  • Input digital job plans and support asset history filing (network & SharePoint).
  • Process purchasing invoices through Mainsaver.
  • Maintain risk assessments, safe systems of work, and general engineering documentation.
  • Manage Jira tickets, purchase requests, engineering rotas, holidays and appointments.
  • Support audits, compliance activities, PPE distribution, and general administration across Humber locations.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and experience supporting audits/compliance.
  • Strong IT skills: Excel, Word, Outlook and confident with digital systems.
  • Experience with CMMS (Mainsaver ideal) and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira).
  • Good communication, organisation, and proactive problem‑solving skills.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Experience in Continuous Improvement environments.
  • Previous exposure to ports or similar operational settings.
  • Strong understanding of engineering processes.
