A global media company is seeking a Rights Coordinator for a 12-month fixed-term contract in London. PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £26,000 - £28,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. Plus London Weighting Allowance of £5,441. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. The Rights Coordinator role supports BBC Studios Distribution in acquiring, creating, and distributing content to maximise audience value and commercial return within a digital, global, and commercial environment. The Rights Management Team delivers high quality rights and restrictions data administration, and provides effective business support and coordination by using systems and processes efficiently and building strong, collaborative working relationships. The Rights Coordinator role involves the accurate, consistent, and timely interpretation and management of acquisition and restriction data on the BBC Studios rights management system, ensuring full compliance with business requirements.
The Rights Management team sits within the Global Operations Content & Rights Acquistions department. The team is responsible for management of acquisition, distribution and contributor rights and restrictions data in the BBC Studios Distribution rights management database. The Rights Management team interacts with a number of stakeholders within the C&RA department and the wider business, servicing rights and cost queries from Sales, investigating issues with rights and restrictions, producing bespoke rights reports and working on data enhancement and process improvement projects.
