Job summary

A leading parts supplier in Ipswich is looking for a Parts Advisor to assist customers with their parts requirements via telephone, email, and in person. Responsibilities include preparing orders, placing orders with suppliers, and maintaining stock levels. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills and a professional attitude. A driving license is required, and knowledge of the HGV and/or Trailer industry is a plus. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday work.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a professional and helpful attitude at all times.
• HGV and/or Trailer Industry knowledge & Experience will be advantageous.
• Driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Advise customers on parts requirements using skill or computer programs.
• Take orders via telephone, email, and front counter.
• Prepare orders for customers and workshop.
• Place orders with suppliers and keep customers/workshop updated.
• Advise and provide parts to customers and workshop technicians.
• Control stock levels.
• Maintain marketing display areas with the latest product range.
