On Track Silverstone

On Track Education Silverstone is a 40‑place independent special school for pupils aged 11–16, offering a highly personalised approach through small group and individualised learning. The Role

We are seeking a passionate and creative Lead Art Teacher to lead the development and delivery of Art across the setting. You will play a key role in inspiring pupils, shaping an engaging Art curriculum, and supporting young people to develop confidence, creativity, and achievement.

You will have responsibility for the ongoing development of the Art curriculum, including appropriate accreditation routes, ensuring learning is meaningful, motivating, and accessible to all pupils.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and delivery of an engaging and inclusive Art curriculum
  • Inspire and motivate pupils through high‑quality teaching and creative practice
  • Support pupils to make progress and achieve appropriate accreditation
  • Promote positive behaviour and wellbeing in line with school expectations
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support pupils’ learning and development
  • Contribute to a safe, supportive, and nurturing school environment
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of all pupils

Salary & Benefits

£29,775 to £35,585 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience

Working Hours

Full‑time: 8 hours per day Monday to Friday, between 8:15 am and 4:15 pm.
