An educational support provider is seeking a Lead Teacher to join their team in Rotherham. The role involves ensuring the best educational outcomes for children with special needs, promoting inclusive practices, and leading a team of support staff. Candidates should have QTS, a strong leadership background in education, and relevant safeguarding experience. Continuous training and support, along with a strong employee development commitment, are offered, along with a competitive compensation package.
We are looking for a Lead Teacher to join our friendly team at our 1ACE provisions based in Rotherham/Sheffield at the site of Gulliver’s. In this role, you would be expected to ensure all children and young people within our care are secure and receive the best possible educational provision and outcomes.
This opportunity will see the successful candidate be able to develop and promote an ‘offer’ that will make best use of the immediate surroundings. The site is based in woodland on the land at Gulliver’s theme park and comprises of 6 cabins with toilets, showers, an office and kitchen. Opportunities are vast and we are looking for the creative ‘spark’ that would give Five Rivers education something unique. Areas such as the arts or forest school would have an enormous amount of potential based on this site.
Working alongside the Head of Field Gate School in Doncaster, you will promote outstanding performance, ensure the education provision is inclusive, practical, and innovative, develop 1ACE outreach improvement plans and ensure their implementation is successful. The successful candidate will hold QTS as well as be able to evidence considerable experience in the following:
We are looking for a Lead Teacher who has experience being a successful Leader in Education, working within a Special Education Setting (SEMH/SpLD), Experience of working in Safeguarding and Child protection, as well as working with a range of students, the experience of Ofsted inspection processes and an ability to work successfully and collaboratively.
