A leading financial institution in Sheffield is seeking a Senior Transformation & Delivery Manager for a permanent full-time role with a hybrid working model. You’ll join the Change & Innovation team to lead transformation and strategic change initiatives across Corporate Services. Acting as the bridge between strategy and delivery, you will take ownership of complex programmes and projects, ensuring they deliver business value and align with organisational priorities. You will be accountable for the full lifecycle of delivery – from initial shaping and planning through to execution, governance, risk management and ensuring delivery of defined outcomes. Working closely with senior stakeholders, delivery teams and external partners, you will translate strategic intent into structured, well‑managed delivery plans that drive measurable progress.
You’ll lead multiple initiatives across Corporate Services functions, which may include Finance, HR, Procurement, Risk, Operations and their supporting technologies. You will define programme and project scopes, shape delivery plans, and manage dependencies across teams to ensure coordinated and timely execution. You’ll be responsible for maintaining robust governance, reporting and assurance, acting as the primary point of contact for progress, performance, risks, issues and decision‑making. You’ll set the direction for delivery activities by shaping product visions and roadmaps with stakeholders and maintaining clear, prioritised backlogs that provide focus for delivery teams. You’ll guide and coach cross‑functional teams, helping to embed strong project and programme management practice and mature Agile ways of working.
You’ll bring extensive experience in senior delivery, programme, or project leadership within complex, cross‑functional environments. You’ll think strategically, use data to guide decisions, collaborate effectively, adapt to change, and focus on delivering measurable business and customer outcomes while proactively managing risks.
