Role: Performance Marketing Manager

Location: London

About the role:

The Performance Marketing Manager will play a key role in executing marketing campaigns across digital performance channels, including paid search, paid social, SMS/WhatsApp, programmatic and display, for our client, an internationally recognized B2B organization. The Digital Centre of Excellence (DCoE) within the client’s pharmaceutical practice is appointed to drive digital best practices, develop digital channel strategies, and grow audience engagement across all digital touchpoints. In this role, you will support the Performance Marketing Lead by executing, optimizing, and reporting on marketing campaigns, leveraging 3-4 years of relevant experience to collaborate with marketing and sales teams and external agencies.

You'll be part of a wider team within a Digital Centre of Excellence and will be responsible for managing key digital marketing channels. You'll work closely with the Performance Marketing Lead and the wider marketing team and collaborate with client’s external agencies and partners to ensure seamless campaign execution and innovation.

What you will be doing:

  • Implement and oversee acquisition efforts, supporting business growth strategies through ROI-based methods and data-driven approaches.
  • Develop and manage performance marketing strategies that align with the business's objectives and targets.
  • Assist in identifying management information to monitor performance and discover any hindrances early.
  • Work consultatively to gather requirements, understanding the organisation's needs, and making informed recommendations.
  • Manage digital marketing activities across paid channels: social, search, PPC, and display.
  • Conduct research and analyses on datasets to create effective program and campaign strategies.
  • Optimize channel performance against KPIs and support budget allocation and spend management activities.
  • Identify new opportunities for digital platforms, fostering innovation and thought leadership.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Strategy & Planning leaders, and Creative teams to align marketing strategies with regional goals and KPIs.
  • Create a culture of digital expertise by sharing learnings and performance insights with cross-functional teams.
  • Utilize analytical tools such as Google Analytics for formulating SEO and SEM strategies, and articulate complex information clearly.
  • Maintain communication with internal and external partners to ensure alignment on deliverables and timelines.
  • Conduct in-depth post-program analyses and develop hypotheses to improve spend efficiency and channel performance continuously.

What you need to be great in this role:

  • Proven experience in managing digital marketing campaigns and working with client-side and agency teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively with external agencies and partners.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills—both written and spoken.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical sector is beneficial, and B2B experience is essential.
  • Familiarity with Martech solutions is advantageous.
  • 5+ years of relevant digital marketing experience.
