Overview
The Quality Engineering Chapter Lead – Practices & People plays a key leadership role in building a strong, inclusive, and highly capable Quality Engineering community. By shaping how people grow, belong, and deliver quality, this role directly supports Kingfisher’s purpose: Better Homes, Better Lives, Forever everyone ensuring our teams are supported to do their best work for customers and colleagues alike.
Responsibilities
- Shape and deliver the Chapter’s strategic and operational roadmap, aligned with Kingfisher Technology goals.
- Lead the people strategy, ensuring effective resourcing and strong, collaborative stakeholder relationships.
- Drive capability growth through reskilling, upskilling, recruitment, and leadership development.
- Elevate quality engineering standards and practices in line with industry best practice.
- Lead and support talent acquisition activity to meet Chapter and business needs.
- Able to author chapter-wide policies and standards to ensure consistency and quality.
- Support performance, career development, and succession planning across the Chapter.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in quality engineering and quality engineering practices.
- Proven leadership of large, multi-geography, multi-sourced engineering functions.
- Strong experience driving change in complex, fast-moving environments.
- Significant experience in global talent acquisition and workforce planning.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, coaching, and people leadership capability.

- Private Health Care – Opportunity to receive up to family level cover with AXA. Join within three months of starting or at annual renewal in April. (This benefit is subject to Benefit In Kind taxation).
