Job description
ROLE OF THE JOB

We are looking for a Sheltered Scheme Officer to be based at Augur Place, Alnwick. This is a full-time, permanent role.

This role involves managing sheltered housing schemes, promoting resident well-being, and ensuring effective tenancy management.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day management of a sheltered housing scheme and purpose built bungalows designed for those with a diagnosis of dementia or Alzheimers.
  • Promoting resident well-being, community spirit, and independence.
  • Facilitating support for scheme residents and managing tenancy processes.
  • Fostering team spirit and accountability while prioritising customer service.
  • Ensuring excellent service delivery and maintaining a high profile within the scheme.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
  • Social Housing or Customer-focused experience.
  • Valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
  • Enthusiasm and a passion for delivering excellent customer service to older people and those with a diagnosis of dementia or Alzheimers.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
