Reception - Ibis Styles Heathrow East
Contract: Salary: 13.21 per hour

Situated on Great West Road, Hounslow; the hotel has taken inspiration from the architecture of West London's Golden Mile. This stylish 125-guest room hotel features glamourous Art Deco interior throughout combined with everything you expect from Ibis Styles including comfortable SweetBeds™, creative design, a friendly team and great rates.

With a variety of guest rooms including doubles, twins, triples and an interconnecting room with sofa beds available; the hotel is ideal for business or leisure travellers visiting West London. Set 4 miles from London Heathrow Airport, there are many great attractions within easy reach. The hotel also features everything you need for a comfortable stay, including triple glazing, eliminating any noise from traffic and overhead planes, free Wi-Fi, and black out curtains in the room - promising a great sleep whatever the time of day.

Job Description

A Guest Service Supervisor (GSS) must oversee the running of a shift and ensure that the Guest Services Assistants are managing their task lists accordingly. A GSS will be responsible for supporting their line manager with the reception department.

Role in our Family

As a Guest Service Supervisor, key to your role is:

  • To provide a safe environment for Splendid Family Members and residents
  • To monitor shift procedures, ensuring checklists are completed in the correct manner
  • To supervise the multiple departments, working operational shifts as required
  • To comply with the company policies regarding Fire, Health & Safety, Food hygiene and Security
  • To support your line manager in training and development of team members
  • To support other team members when dealing with guest complaints
  • To ensure that rooms are cleaned to the SHG and Brand standards required, and turned around in an efficient manner
  • To be proactive in generating sales and referring sales leads as well as upselling products and services where possible
  • To carry out the responsibilities of a Guest Services Assistant when required
