The Role of Guest Service Team Leader - Meetings & Events
The Guest Service Team Leader - Meetings & Events will be responsible for supporting the Operations Manager in leading the team to ensure a memorable experience from every interaction whether at breakfast, lunch, dinner or function. You will primarily be responsible for all Meetings & Events. You will ensure that there is a warm welcome into any of the areas that our guests are in and that a memorable experience is created through genuine hospitality and interaction. Fantastic organisation and communication are key to deliver an exceptional event experience for our guests.
A key aspect of the role is to forge a great rapport with guests from initial contact and ensure the team also do this, strong working relationships with all departments to ensure great service delivery & effectively maximise revenue when there is opportunity.
The Guest Service Team Leader - Meetings & Events will ensure that they are fully aware of all business in the hotel on a day to day basis and that they and their team are prepared for the day, shift or event.
The role of Guest Service Team Leader - Meetings & Events will report to the Operations Manager; this is an opportunity for an aspiring & passionate Guest Service Assistant that is ready to take the next step in their career.
This role is ideal for someone who has strong Food & Beverage Experience and customer care skills with great communication and time management.
Job Overview:
As Guest Service Team Leader – Meetings & Events you will ensure all aspects of our hotel's Food & Beverage operations specifically Meetings & Events are carried out effectively on a day-to-day basis. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality service, optimizing guest satisfaction, and upselling across all Food & Beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, room service, and banquet facilities.
