Carer (Full‑time, part‑time, weekends and evenings) – ALTON & BORDON

Melody Care is seeking a dedicated Carer to provide in‑home support for residents who wish to remain independent. The role offers flexible scheduling across full‑time, part‑time, weekend and evening shifts.

Base pay ranges are based on skills and experience. These will be discussed with the recruiter.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assistance with daily living activities: getting up/going to bed, dressing, bathing, grooming, nutrition (meal preparation and service), toileting, mobility and transfers, denture care, spectacles and hearing aid checks, night care duties.
• Health‑related tasks: maintaining medical regimes, catheter and stoma care, prevention of pressure sores, sight loss monitoring, reporting significant changes to the Branch team.
• Domestic services: light house cleaning, laundry & ironing, meal preparation, shopping and errands.
• Social and emotional support: promote wellbeing, meet emotional needs, provide mobility & transport, company, conversation and listening.

Requirements:

• Own vehicle with current, clean driving licence, MOT and insurance covering professional duties.
• Mobile phone (company supplied).
• Personal attributes: self‑motivated, proactive learner, organised, reliable, flexible, caring, sensitive, team player with initiative, good communicator, non‑judgemental attitude.
