Purpose of the Role

This senior management role is for a dynamic, tech‑savvy leader skilled in operational systems, digital platforms, and process optimisation. You will drive operational efficiency, compliance, and service quality across Northern Ireland's homecare division. Experience in Health & Social Care is an asset, but the focus is on leveraging IT systems, digital workflows, and data insights to enable operational excellence and support business growth. You will lead Senior Care Coordinators, support Registered Managers, and ensure scalable, efficient processes as services expand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations with a focus on system efficiency, workflow optimisation, and resource utilisation.
  • Support Registered Managers as needed to maintain operational continuity.
  • Optimise rostering and scheduling to reduce travel time, maximise staff utilisation, and ensure fairness.
  • Lead implementation and optimisation of IT systems and digital workflows across the division.
  • Analyse operational and performance data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Train teams to maximise system adoption, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Use digital tools and data insights to support regulatory compliance and inspection readiness.
  • Lead internal audits and embed continuous improvement practices.
  • Mentor and manage Senior Care Coordinators to deliver system‑driven operational excellence.
  • Support Registered Managers in workforce planning, rota management, and team development.
  • Ensure systems, processes, and resources align with growth objectives.
  • Support launch of new services and initiatives for efficient operational delivery.
  • Collate, analyse, and present operational and system data to senior leadership, highlighting trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Provide senior management support on‑call as required.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum two years in a senior operational or systems‑focused management role.
  • Relevant IT/Business Systems qualification (Level 3+ or equivalent).
  • Full, valid licence with access to a vehicle.
  • Proven experience implementing, optimising, and managing operational IT systems.
  • Proficient in using analytics and KPIs to inform decisions and improve performance.
  • Experience in workforce planning, multi‑site service delivery, and digital workflow optimisation.
  • Ability to inspire, coach, and develop teams to achieve results.
  • Demonstrated success in enhancing operational efficiency through systems and digital tools.
