The Role

This is an opportunity to work for one of the world’s leading independent energy & commodities trading groups, supporting the systems that keep global trade moving.

You’ll sit at the very heart of the business partnering with traders, risk managers, and operations, ensuring that the platforms they rely on are up, stable, and driving decisions in real time.

From CTRM applications (including Endur) through to connected upstream and downstream systems, you’ll be the go-to problem solver when it comes to intraday trade capture, EOD reporting, and live position monitoring.

This is not a passive “keep the lights on” role. You’ll be empowered to log, analyse, and fix issues fast, while also identifying patterns, root causes, and long-term improvements that add measurable business value.

What you’ll be doing day to day:

• Proactively monitoring system health and identifying issues before they impact the desk.

• Balancing quick wins (immediate fixes) with deeper analysis to prevent recurring problems.
• Building strong relationships with front, middle, and back office teams, translating technical issues into business impact
