Job Title: Night Registered Veterinary Nurse

Reporting to: Group Nursing Manager

Location: Abbey House Veterinary Hospital Morley

Salary: £33,000 FTE - £21,750 pro rata amount which includes £3,000 night supplement

Hours: Permanent, you will be working one week on and one week off. Hours are 7pm - 8.30am Monday - Thursday.

Abbey House Vets are looking for a dedicated and experienced RVN who has a keen desire in the emergency field to join as a Night RVN. The right candidate will be able to work in a team but also have the efficiency to work independently to provide excellent patient and client care.

There is no weekend work and you will work Monday - Thursday every other week, which means every Friday, Saturday and Sunday you will be off.

You will be working alongside a dedicated night VS and PCA for the full night shift, alongside twilight PCA/SVN support throughout the week.

• Abbey House is a fast paced environment that enables you to utilise your skills in triage and emergency medicine and surgery. Our busy caseload can be extremely rewarding.
• We see a mixture of primary care patients and mid-tier referral patients giving an opportunity to see more complex cases from a surgical and wards perspective.

Abbey House is composed of 6 veterinary clinics across West Yorkshire including our main hospital in Morley. We see both primary care and mid-tier referrals. Our facilities consist of digital X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, a dental suite and an intensive care unit with an incubator.

You’ll be surrounded by highly experienced RVNs who are all passionate about delivering exceptional clinical and client care in a friendly and collaborative environment. Within our vet team we have a range of skills including a surgical referral surgeon and an ophthalmology referral surgeon. We work hard to ensure rotas and schedules are balanced and fair, giving you the time you need between cases and to genuinely have a work/life balance.
