Overview

Veterinary Surgeon - Surrey

Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum (D.O.E.)

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (open to part-time applicants)

Hours: 40 hours per week over 4 days, 1 in 4 Saturdays (8am-4pm), No OOH

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their exceptional team. If you’re eager to enhance your skills in a state-of-the-art clinic equipped with the latest technology, this is the perfect place for you.

Imagine working in a purpose-built clinic that provides inpatient emergency care 24/7, ensuring continuity in cases and patient care. The cutting-edge facilities include diagnostic imaging, digital radiography, laparoscopic spay kit, endoscopy, ultrasound, and in-house blood analysis. The fully operational orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery suite offers immense potential for expanding the surgical caseload.

Proud to be a Gold Standard Cat Friendly Clinic, featuring separate waiting areas, consultation rooms, and hospital wards to ensure a calm environment for our feline patients. With most clients carrying insurance, you’ll have the chance to elevate case management to exceptional standards.

Join a passionate, close-knit team of 4 Vets and 6 nurses, supported by a wonderful team of support staff and PCAs. The practice is within walking distance of amenities including a spa, gym, coffee shop, grocery store, and a beautiful park, promoting a great work/life balance ethos.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be confident and experienced in both general surgery and medicine. You’ll have the support of the excellent nursing and support teams. Most importantly, you should be friendly, empathetic, and possess excellent communication skills. Completion of your Vet GDP and RCVS registration is essential.
