We have an exciting opportunity for a Development Underwriter to join our Technology & Med Tech Underwriting team based in our Birmingham office. In this role, you’ll take charge of proactively managing submissions, quotes, and binds for new business, driving impressive quote and conversion ratios that directly impact our success. You’ll be at the forefront of building meaningful relationships with brokers while delivering innovative insurance solutions that truly meet our customers’ needs. As a decisive and detail‑oriented professional, you’ll leverage your analytical skills to evaluate risk and achieve ambitious business goals within your assigned portfolio. Your independent risk assessment abilities, negotiation expertise, and product sales acumen will be instrumental in driving Travelers’ sustainable profitability and continued market leadership.
