Driver Hire Brighton & Eastbourne is recruiting skilled and experienced Vehicle Fitters for our client’s workshop. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified technician to work on a range of HGVs, coaches, and buses.
- Proven experience as an HGV Fitter, PCV Mechanic, or similar role
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds) are highly desirable
- Ability to perform servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on commercial vehicles
- Own toolkit is essential
- Strong focus on health and safety procedures
- Carrying out routine servicing and safety inspections (MOT prep)
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
- Performing planned maintenance and emergency repairs
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and documented correctly
- Working in a modern, well-equipped workshop environment
