Job description

First Call Contract Services is looking for 3.5T van drivers for our well‑known client in Haydock.

To be accepted in this role you must have held a full UK driving licence for at least one year, be able to drive a 3.5T van, and have no more than 6 points on your licence.

This is a temporary‑to‑permanent position for the right candidate with an immediate start available.

Your duties will involve driving to customer houses, delivering flat pack furniture across the region and surrounding areas alongside a Driver's Mate who will manage customer communication and organisation. Your duties will include loading, unloading and delivery to the customer's room of choice, and you must be comfortable with heavy lifting.

Job Details

• Start times 06:00 am‑14:30 pm or 13:30 pm‑22:00 pm
• Monday to Friday
• Delivering flat‑pack furniture to residential customers
• Between 15 and 27 deliveries per shift
• Physically capable as heavy lifting will be involved

Pay rate: £12.71 per hour (PAYE)
