An opportunity has arisen for a Production Operative to join the Ashby site on the days shift. In this role, you will carry out the day‑to‑day duties involved in the production assembly processes and the labelling of intermediate and finished goods within the production departments.

• Follow the instructions of the Production Supervisors for job allocation and rules on the use of production equipment to satisfy production schedule requirements.
• Carry out all work in the Production Department as per the process instructions and Quality department requirements to ensure products meet customer specifications.
• Work safely and cost‑effectively to meet required production levels and customer requirements, adhering to ISO standards.
• Undergo regular training on production operations of the departments, health and safety.
• Adhere to Health and Safety regulations and the Health and Safety Policy.
• Immediately report any accidents or injuries involving production personnel and ensure appropriate first aid treatment.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards in the production areas.
• Identify and, in consultation with the Production Supervisors/Team Leaders, initiate improvements in the manufacturing process in terms of quality, cost, yield, and throughput.
• Carry out any other duties as requested by the Production Supervisor/Team Leader to ensure the correct running of the production operations.

Experience in a manufacturing/packing environment would be desirable, although full training will be given.

37.5 hours per week: Monday to Thursday 7.30‑4.15 pm with a 30‑minute lunch break, and Friday 7.30‑12 noon.
