Therapeutic Weekend Residential Support Worker
Job summary
A local authority in the UK is hiring Secure Residential Support Workers to provide care and support to children with complex needs during weekends. The role requires individuals who are empathetic and resilient, with a passion for helping others. Successful candidates will ensure a safe and nurturing environment while engaging in therapeutic and fun activities. This permanent position offers £27,780 - £30,564 pro-rata per annum plus market supplement and enhancements. Training will be provided.
Qualifications
- Passionate about helping children.
- Emotionally intelligent and physically able.
- Experience in residential settings is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, structured, and caring environment.
- Act as a 'therapeutic parent' and role model.
