Job summary
A logistics company in Barnsley is looking for a warehouse operative to join their team on a rotating shift basis of 4ON 4OFF. Key responsibilities include collaborating with team leaders, loading and unloading containers, accurately scanning pallets, and maintaining a high standard of safety and efficiency. The role requires excellent time management and the ability to follow site safety protocols. Compensation is £12.57 per hour.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with shift Team Leader and management.
- Load and unload wagons or containers.
- Scan pallets into correct locations.
- Maintain equipment and report issues.
- Follow site safety regulations.
- 4ON 4OFF Rotating (4 Days and then 4 Nights)
- £12.57 per hour
Your main job duties will include but will not be limited to the following;
- Working in collaboration with the shift Team Leader and site management.
- Completing all tasks to a high standard, swiftly and safely
- To ensure the smooth running of the site by completing all tasks swiftly and safely in the warehouse.
- You will be responsible for loading / unloading wagons or containers.
- Scanning all pallets into correct locations and completing all jobs 100%
- Work to a high standard to ensure all pallets are delivered in a good condition
- Manage your time effectively so ensure all tasks are completed.
- Maintain equipment and report any faults or issues immediately
- Follow all site safe systems of work
- Assist team leaders or management team if needed.
- Ensure that there is a full handover to the following shift and site management.
- Encourage awareness off the site rules including, use of walkways, use of designated smoking, eating and mobile phone areas and the correct way of wearing PPE.
