Job summary
A prominent football club in the UK seeks a Designated Safeguarding Officer to ensure the safety and welfare of children, young people, and adults at risk. This role involves implementing safeguarding policies, leading player care initiatives, and being a key contact for safeguarding issues. Candidates should have significant experience in safeguarding and excellent communication skills. The position requires flexible hours and travel within and outside the UK. Qualifications
- Significant experience of safeguarding in a professional setting.
- Experience in managing complex safeguarding situations.
Responsibilities
- Implement safeguarding policies to maximize safety.
- Lead player care and support for teams.
- Be a visible point of contact for safeguarding issues.
- Deliver sessions on life skills to parents and players.
- Manage safeguarding concerns in accordance with Club policies.
- Ensure safeguarding is prioritized in Academi activities.
