As an Associate Editor, you will:

• Manage the timely production of high‑quality digital and print learning materials within set budgets.
• Independently handle projects from research and inception to final sign‑off.
• Quality‑check manuscripts and digital platforms.
• Coordinate with authors, editors, designers, and technology partners.
• Develop content plans for English language learning products.
• Create age‑appropriate and creative storyboards for digital content.
• Conceptualize, create, check, and edit digital content in various formats (video, animation, slideshows, audio, interactivities) using the latest tools.
• Conduct research using credible educational resources.
• Plan and manage schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Identify, train, and develop freelance content creators/editors.
• Develop product training presentations and creative marketing content.
• Maintain and update a repository of efficiently tagged content/assets.

Your work will directly impact the quality of English language learning resources, supporting OUP’s reputation for excellence and helping learners succeed.

• Excellent command of English.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Sound editorial and content development skills.
• Understanding of e‑learning and latest EdTech developments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 360, Google Docs/Sheets, Adobe Suite, and at least one online course‑authoring tool.
• Creativity and good visualization skills.
• Understanding of pedagogy.
• Ability to deliver high‑quality work under strict deadlines.
• Effective organizational skills.
• Post‑graduation in English or a diploma/certificate in Publishing.
