A leading provider of sustainable facilities management is seeking a Mobile Water Treatment Technician to cover Yorkshire, the North West and North East of England. Our client is looking for a Mobile Water Treatment Technician (Tier 2) to join the team in the North of England. The Technician will be required to cover Yorkshire, the North West and North East of England.
Serve as a Water Treatment Engineer and/or Risk Assessor, delivering a full range of water treatment services across the North of the UK. Occasional travel with overnight stays may be required.
Responsibilities include temperature monitoring, showerhead descaling, cold water storage tank inspections and cleans, cooling tower cleaning and disinfection, TMV servicing, and water sampling.
Tier 2 (in addition to Tier 1 duties): Dosing of inhibitor and biocide, as well as testing and analysis of LTHW systems.
Respond promptly and professionally to all verbal and written requests.
Complete PPM service visits using the appropriate tools and systems.
Ensure all site L8 logbooks, where acting as the Primary Technician, are up to date and accurately maintained.
City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent qualification aligned to the relevant Tier level for the role
Strong, current knowledge of technical regulations, including the Water Supply Regulations/Byelaws, L8 ACOP, HSG274, and other applicable industry guidance
Proven ability to diagnose and resolve faults effectively
Full, valid driving licence
This position requires an Enhanced DBS check with Barred Lists; therefore, the ability to meet this requirement is essential
