Job summary
A local pharmacy in Tees Valley is looking for a Pharmacy Services Assistant to engage with customers, provide prescription services, and assist with public health tasks. The role includes training for a qualification and offers prospects for an apprenticeship. Ideal candidates should have GCSEs in Maths and English or be willing to complete necessary tests. This role supports community health and retail experience.
Qualifications
- GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent in Maths and English desired.
- Initial Maths and English tests will be required for those without Level 2 qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to provide prescription counter services.
- Perform housekeeping duties like stock rotation and replenishment.
- Help deliver public health services while gaining a pharmacy qualification.

This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification. TS25 3LB
GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.
For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.
Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.
