Job summary

A pharmacy training organization in the North East of England is looking for a Pharmacy Assistant to provide prescription counter services and advice. This role offers an opportunity to gain a pharmacy qualification while engaging with customers, assisting with dispensing medications, and managing stock replenishment. Ideal candidates will have GCSE qualifications and a willingness to complete initial Maths and English tests if necessary.

Brief Description

DH7 7LD. This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course. For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.

Training to be Provided

Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.
