• Salary: £23,809.50 per annum
• Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week
• Days of Work: Monday to Saturday9am–5.30pm, with Sunday + one weekday off.

We’re looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented Laundry Operative to join our Lakelovers (Windermere)team. You’ll be key to keeping our laundry and housekeeping running like clockwork, making sure every property is guest-ready. You’ll work closely with our cleaners, resolving laundry and housekeeping issues over the phone and face-to-face.

You’ll need to multitask, stay organised, and collaborate effectively to help maintain our high standards. This is a flexible role suitable for both full-time and part-time applicants.

• Manage day-to-day laundry operations and liaise with suppliers
• Count and check freshly laundered linen; record shortfalls or rejects
• Deliver clean linen using fleet vehicles when required
• Conduct property inspections, corrective cleaning, and special requests
• Prepare linen for weekly departures and maintain stock levels
• Manage soiled linen, keeping the area tidy before collection by suppliers
• Provide practical feedback to support departmental performance
• Promote excellent customer service to guests and owners
• Undertake any additional duties within the scope of the role as requested

ifyou have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment, previous experience as a Laundry Assistant, and are IT literate with the ability to update stock controls.
