Job summary
A leading financial institution in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to develop and enhance software systems using a variety of programming methodologies. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in backend languages such as Python or Go and experience with frontend frameworks like React or Next.js. Candidates should be familiar with microservices and containerized applications, and be adept at collaborating with product managers and stakeholders. - Highly proficient with production usage of one or more backend programming languages (Python, Go, other backend languages acceptable provided can ramp up quickly)
- Experience with frontend development (frameworks such as Next.js, React and so on)
- Excellent understanding of software architecture, design patterns and clean code principles
- Experience with containerised applications, microservices & event-driven architecture
- Proficient in multiple areas of development practices for example test and behavioural driven design, testing, continuous deployment, Agile development
- Good experience of collaboration with various stakeholders such as product managers and solution designers
