A regional police department is seeking Quality Assurance Volunteers to provide independent scrutiny of youth programmes. The role requires making several visits every three months to ensure safe experiences for young people and compliance with quality standards. Candidates should have experience in youth activities, basic IT skills, and the ability to document findings accurately. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about youth development and safety.

Qualifications

  • Ability to travel independently to external locations.
  • Comprehensively assess youth programme activities to identify risks and best practices.
  • Document findings in a timely manner using templates.

Responsibilities

  • Provide independent scrutiny and quality assurance of youth programmes.
  • Make approximately 5 visits every three months.

Skills

Experience or knowledge of youth activities
Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office)
Experience of quality assurance
Knowledge of safeguarding
