Job summary

A local community organization in Norwich is seeking volunteers to support children with special educational needs (SEN) during group activities. If you enjoy engaging in arts and crafts and want to make a positive impact on children's lives, this role might be for you. Volunteers will ensure children's safety and engagement, assist parents, and help create a welcoming environment. Availability on Fridays and Saturdays is needed.

Autism Explorers is an autism‑specific community group that supports and nurtures new and existing skills and interests for children with SEN. Volunteers help keep children safe, engaged, and supported during group activities.

We are looking for volunteers who can support our groups with SEN children. If you enjoy arts and crafts, enjoy making pretend cups of tea, and want to have fun with children, you might be a perfect fit!

All volunteers must undergo a background check.

We have groups on Fridays 1:30‑5:15 pm and Saturdays 9:45‑12:00 pm at the Jubilee Community Centre, NR1 2EX.
