* Develop and maintain the company’s Health & Safety Management System in line with ISO 45001 and legal requirements.* Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.* Manage COSHH compliance, including chemical risk assessments, safe storage, and employee training.* Ensure compliance with Explosive Atmospheres Regulations (ATEX/DSEAR), including risk assessments and control measures.* Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis, ensuring lessons learned are communicated and applied.* Deliver training and awareness programs to promote a strong safety culture.* Lead site emergency preparedness procedures, (including ensuring adequate fire marshals and first aiders)* Good Understanding of general Health and Safety requirements* Ability to perform Risk Assessments* Excellent written and oral communication & leadership skills* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.* Good knowledge of site functions and areas* Analytical skills are essential* Good IT knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Project etc* Project Management* Risk based thinking* Ability to influence and drive cultural change.* Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools.* Certification in Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline.* Professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH General Certificate or similar)* Membership to a professional body such as IOSH, IEMA etc.* ISO Internal Auditor for 14001/45001/50001.* Minimum 5 years’ experience in HSE management within manufacturing or industrial environments.* Strong knowledge of UK/EU legislation and international standards.* Experience in COSHH management and ATEX/DSEAR compliance.**CAREER OPPORTUNITIES**We manage talent as seriously as we manage our businesses and encourage you to learn about our proud history, strong culture, technologies and future vision.
