About the Sainsbury Centre
The Sainsbury Centre is a world‑class art museum with a unique perspective on how art can foster cultural dialogue and exchange, formally recognising the living lifeforce of art and enabling people to build relationships across an arts landscape. Home to a global collection of artworks spanning 6,000 years of human imagination and creative power, our curators collaborate with artists to explore the most important questions people have in their lives. In 1973, Sir Robert and Lady Lisa Sainsbury donated their world‑class art collection to the University of East Anglia (UEA) in Norwich. The Sainsbury Centre is an international museum welcoming over 1 million visitors a year to enjoy its collection, housed in a modern architectural icon designed by Sir Norman Foster, and its sculpture park set in 350 acres of parkland. It will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2028.
Key Duties
Proposing and developing innovative digital collection‑based projects across the Sainsbury Centre art landscape, including AI, 3D modelling, and virtual experiences as well as taking responsibility for onsite coordination and completion of digital projects and liaising with stakeholders to ensure successful completion. You will also be responsible for the maintenance of digital collection‑based installations, liaising with external suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure high‑quality visitor experience. You will have experience in digital content development in the cultural sector and an awareness of current trends in cultural sector digital resources across innovation, asset management, learning and research.
Duration
This full‑time post is available on a fixed‑term basis until 31 July 2028, with the possibility of an extension (subject to funding).
