We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Payroll Administrator to join our Finance team. In this role, you will support the Payroll Manager in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for all UK and ROI employees. You’ll play a key part in maintaining compliance with statutory regulations while providing excellent service to our internal stakeholders.

Assist with the preparation and processing of monthly payroll for all employees.
Maintain and update payroll records and employee data in the payroll system.
Handle employee queries regarding pay, deductions, and taxes.
Support payroll report reconciliation and liaise with senior team members during month-end processes.
Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and company policies.
Assist with administration of pensions, auto-enrolment, benefits, and statutory payments (e.g., SSP, SMP).
Help prepare reports for internal and external audits.
Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll information.
Keep up to date with changes in payroll legislation and HMRC requirements.
Previous experience in payroll or finance support role.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll software (e.g., Sage, ADP, or similar).
Solid understanding of UK payroll legislation.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Desire to develop payroll knowledge and work towards a payroll qualification (e.g., CIPP).
Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience at a similar level.
Working knowledge of auto-enrolment legislation.
Ability to calculate PAYE and NIC manually.
Educated to degree level or equivalent.
Advanced Excel skills.
