The Role

Harris Maxus are seeking a creative and talented Junior Designer to join our team. As a Junior Designer, you will be responsible for supporting the Lead Creative in helping create visually appealing and effective designs suitable for our industry, while building brand identity. You will work closely with the Lead Creative to learn and develop design skills, while also having the opportunity to work on your own projects.

Key responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Lead Creative to develop concepts and designs for print and digital media, including website graphics, social media graphics, email campaigns, and more
  • Assist in the creation of designs that are visually appealing and effective in communicating information to our target audience
  • Modify and revise existing designs
  • Research and stay up-to-date on design trends and best practices to ensure that our designs are innovative and effective
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Required skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.)
  • An understanding of print and web design principles
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to take direction and work independently
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously
