About Envision: Envision Energy is a world‑leading green technology company that provides renewable energy solutions for global enterprises, governments, and institutions. Encompassing three major business sectors - Smart Wind Turbines, Energy Storage, and Green Hydrogen Solutions, Envision Energy collaboratively constructs comprehensive solutions for energy transformation. It has achieved carbon neutrality across its global operations by 2022 and will achieve carbon neutrality throughout its value chain by 2028.

About the role: A Remote Monitoring Centre (RMC/RCC) Analyst is responsible for proactively monitoring systems, events, and data streams from a remote location. You will analyse alerts to identify potential incidents, escalate issues, and perform initial troubleshooting to ensure system stability and security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Active monitoring: Watch real‑time monitoring tools, dashboards, and alerts for system events, alarms, and anomalies.
  • Incident detection and management: Triage incoming alerts and determine if they represent a security threat, system failure, or other incident.
  • Initial investigation and troubleshooting: Perform first‑line analysis to identify the cause of an alert or incident. This can involve checking logs, verifying system status, or restarting systems.
  • Incident escalation: Follow established procedures to escalate complex or major incidents to the appropriate technical support teams, on‑site personnel, or emergency services.
  • Reporting and documentation: Create detailed, accurate reports of incidents, including root‑cause analysis, and maintain a log of all monitoring activities.
  • Communication: Provide clear and timely communication to stakeholders, including technical teams and customers, about the status of an incident.
  • Maintenance: Support operational processes such as system releases, patches, and routine maintenance activities.
  • Process improvement: Participate in reviewing and improving monitoring procedures, processes, and incident response playbooks.
Qualifications
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Packages.
  • Technical knowledge: A strong understanding of the systems being monitored is essential.
  • Analytical thinking: The ability to analyse complex data from multiple sources, spot trends, and diagnose problems quickly is critical.
  • Attention to detail: A sharp focus is required to notice small changes or anomalies that could indicate a larger problem. Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Problem‑solving: The ability to troubleshoot issues and think logically under pressure is highly valued.
  • Organizational skills: Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise a heavy and often unpredictable workload are necessary.
  • Software proficiency: Experience with monitoring systems, ticket‑tracking software, and other industry‑specific tools is often required.
  • A minimum qualification in a relevant data analytics or process discipline is required.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant systems and technologies, such as SCADA, HMI, or specialised incident management software.
  • A proactive, adaptable, and analytical approach to solving complex issues under pressure.
  • Full UK driving licence.
