Skills
HGV Technician opportunity at Adams Morey in our busy and modern Redbridge workshop. We are seeking a skilled, motivated, and reliable HGV Technician to perform servicing, maintenance, and repair work on commercial vehicles in a fast-paced environment, supported by a knowledgeable team and modern diagnostic tools.
Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience, to be discussed at interview).
Hours: Monday to Friday, 3.30 pm to 12.00 am, 40 hours per week, 30 minutes for lunch (unpaid).
Other duties may be required as needed to meet business requirements.
- Perform servicing and repairs on HGV vehicles, adhering to the quality standards established by DAF and the Commercial Motor Industry.
- Diagnose defects to accurately identify and address mechanical issues.
- Collaborate effectively within a team to achieve operational goals.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to solving technical problems to maintain smooth workshop workflow.
- Communicate clearly with colleagues, ensuring proper documentation and progress updates on repair processes.
- Follow company and dealer processes and procedures, meet and exceed targets, report improvement opportunities, and participate in training to develop skills.
- Previous experience as an HGV Technician
- A full Driving Licence (HGV licence beneficial but not essential)
- DAF experience beneficial but not essential
