Overview

Role: Outbound Relationship Associate (Associate, Full-time). This is an outbound consultative telesales role, contacting businesses to introduce services and deliver new business opportunities to the brokerage team.

Company: Hilton-Baird Financial Solutions, a multi-award-winning, FCA-authorised commercial finance broker. We help businesses unlock working capital by providing funding solutions from banks and independent lenders. Hilton-Baird is part of FRP Advisory Group, a leading national business advisory firm.

Responsibilities
  • Generate new business opportunities through cold and warm telephone calling
  • Introduce the company and services to businesses and identify current or longer-term funding needs
  • Complete a full fact-find, gathering information and discussing available options
  • Ensure compliance with procedures, policies and regulations (FCA, GDPR, etc.)
  • Manage and develop your own diary to meet touchstones
  • Build relationships with key decision makers and maintain a compliant approach to information gathering
  • Maintain high levels of quality, integrity and professionalism
  • Perform against touchstones set across the Balanced Scorecard
  • Attend and engage in regular team meetings and contribute appropriately
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all business dialogue
  • Any duties as part of special projects
Qualifications
  • Educated to GCSE standard or above
  • Background in finance, business, or telemarketing is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
  • Ability to learn quickly and excel in the role
