Overview

On joining this independently owned insurance brokerage, you'll be allocated a book of loyal, profitable agricultural clients worth around £150,000 in income. That will mean you won't have the pressure of building up a book from the ground up, allowing you to focus on getting to know your book, broking colleagues and other areas of the business which will feed you a healthy lead stream as you develop. Working on a hybrid basis across home, client facing and from the local office, you'll have broking, admin and claim support handled locally plus most of your new business will come in through a central referral system. This stream of new business will allow you to benefit from an excellent new business bonus scheme in place which will see you earn up to £20,000 on top of your base salary annually. You’ll be mainly working with farm clients, though these clients also handle estates and commercial suppliers to the rural market, providing a varied and interesting client base.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a book of agricultural clients and develop relationships to understand their risk and coverage needs.
  • Collaborate with broking colleagues and other areas of the business to generate leads via a central referral system.
  • Operate in a hybrid work model (home, client site, local office) with local broking, admin and claim support.
  • Work primarily with farm clients, estates and related commercial suppliers to the rural market.
  • Deliver high-quality client service and service-led insurance solutions.
Qualifications
  • Insurance background with experience in a client-facing capacity.
  • Ideally knowledge of agricultural or commercial clientele.
